Do you sell your images or video as stock?
We do! This is been relatively easy for us to get into with Following the Sky, since both of us have sold stock photography in the past through 500px, and we’re really happy with the service they provide. Here’s the links to our stores:
We still haven’t found a good home for our stock videography, so if you have a place you love to sell video from, please let us know!
Do you promote or review products in exchange for compensation?
Glad you asked! From time to time, we do receive requests for compensated reviews of different products. We put a lot of thought into each one before we make a decision, since we value your trust in everything we post about.
Rest assured that if we’re ever compensated for anything we write about here, you’ll know about it before you make it past the first paragraph of an article. We’ll always give you our honest and open thoughts about any product we review, and if we don’t like it, we’ll flat-out tell you. We don’t have any qualms about talking up the products we love, but we’ll make sure you know if there’s any other incentive involved each time.
If you represent a manufacturer, and would love to have us write about your product, drop us a line on the contact page. We’ve already laid out the rules above, so if you’re not comfortable with honesty and integrity, we’re probably not who you’re looking for.
Can I hire you for a project?
Great question! The short answer is: maybe. We don’t take on much commissioned work, mostly because our schedule is just jam-packed as it is. That said, however, if you have an amazing project you really want to hire us for, we’d love to hear about it. Sometimes schedules and priorities and goals just mesh perfectly with a client, and we end up with a great product that everyone loves.
If you think you’ve got a project like this, and want to talk more about it, send us a short note on the contact page with the best way to contact you further, and we’ll start a conversation.
Where can I get a print of__?
At this point, we’re not actually selling prints of our travels. We’d love for you to be able to grace your walls with a great photo from us of Venice, Tokyo, or New York, but we’re still sorting out the best way to make that happen for you. We really want to be sure that when you buy photography from us, you’re going to be amazed with the quality of the print and framing, so we’re spending a lot of time researching the options.
If you check back in a few weeks, we’ll probably have a better answer for you, but in the mean time, if there’s a photo we post that you just *have* to have a print of, let us know, and we’ll be sure to make it available once we get a print shop up and running.
